Moody's Defeats Wich It

Everyone knows how I feel about Wich It.  I think is sucks.  But I have finally defeated my sandwich foe.  After some bad sandwiches and some bad reports the guys finally agree with me that we should never eat at Wich It again. 

 

 

It didn't hurt that we found Moody's just a few minutes away.  It is so close even Babbit can walk there.  And the sandwiches are awesome. 

Henry and I got the Tex Mex.  Henry got extra hot pepper spread on the side and added all of it.  I thought mine could have used a little more heat but it already had a little kick so I don't know how he could taste the meat over the hot peppers.  But the sandwich was filling and delicious. 

Danny...Boy and Bee Hee split the Carolina Pulled Pork and the Katz (they got the mustard on the side because they are scared of mustard now because of Wich It.)  They said both were really good and the pulled pork was not smothered in BBQ sauce but had just enough.  So I might even like it. 

Alan got the Banh Mi.  He also approved.  For what that's worth.  Henry, of course, warned him against getting the Banh Mi but it seems to have worked out. 


In an attempt not to stuff ourselves we decided not to get any sides.  We did not need any.  Despite the initial worry we had when we saw the tiny bag (well, tiny as compared to the Sam LaGrassa's bag) all the sandwiches fit in the sandwich was just the right size.


We will be going back.

Happy Mother's Day.  I hope you all remembered to give your mother a trunkful of roses.

These two are obviously very good friends.  Or the elephant is about to eat this guy's face off.

This is a combination Elephant in the Wild and a kudos.  Because Fishy Fishy definitely deserves a shout out for bringing in these wonderful peanut snacks.  They are awesome.  Sometimes Fishy Fishy is my hero.

Today is a very special day.  Today is the two year anniversary of Elephun Wednesday.  That's right, we have been doing this for two years.  If there is one thing you can say about the Shipping Monkeys it is that they never let anything go.  So I'm sure we will have many more anniversaries.

This very athletic guy is competing in... rock throwing?  (I'm sure that's not the real name but I don't care.)  And I'm sure he is going to win.  He has elephant arms after all so he is very strong.  he should just be careful because his kilt is getting a bit high.  And no one wants to see that.  Except for maybe Henry.  But we won't talk about that.

I go to Philly and leave these guys alone for one week and this is what happens.  I don't even know what to say about this.  I mean, what is even going on? 

This goofy bastard has finally finished his race.  It must have been a long one because it looks like he has been running it for two years.  Congratulations!!

This one is a special request from Fishy Fishy.  It is apparently an album cover from a band that only Fishy Fishy has ever heard of.  It's definitely weird.  But I like it.
